Hivie is an emotional wellbeing app: a little bee you can talk to. You tell her how your day went, what's worrying you or what you're looking forward to, and she listens, writes back and remembers you. She celebrates your wins and keeps you company on the hard days.
Around those chats there are little extras to help you look after yourself: quotes to read slowly, a log of how you feel, messages to your future self and breaks to breathe. Everything earns Pollen and grows your hive: proof that small steps, day by day, build something big.
No targets, no guilt: Hivie doesn't want to ask more of you than the day already does. She just wants to be a kind place you'll want to come back to.
No. Hivie is your friend who is there whenever you open the app, and she's glad to see you whether it's been a day or a month. Nothing is lost, and nothing is held against you.
Not quite. There's no to-do list and nothing to tick off. Your hive grows from anything you do, not from a streak you have to protect.
Yes. Every part of the app works without paying. The chat, your moods, the phrases, your hive, the bees, breathing exercises and messages in a bottle. Hivie Plus lifts the limits and adds extras.
No. You can use Hivie without an email, a password or a sign-up. An account is only there if you want a backup or plan to move to a new phone one day.
Yes. Your conversations with Hivie are stored only on your phone, not on our servers, so no one on the Hivie team can read them.
So she can write back, your messages go to OpenAI, the AI provider. OpenAI doesn't use them to train its models and only keeps them for a limited time (up to 30 days) to prevent abuse. To remember you, Hivie keeps a short summary of what you've told her on our servers. Only she uses it, to reply to you, and you can erase it any time in Settings. None of it is ever sold or used for advertising.
With an account, sign back in and everything comes back. Without one, your data lives only on that phone, so deleting the app deletes it too. If your hive matters to you, it's worth creating an account.
No. Hivie is an artificial intelligence: she can listen to you, help you put what you feel into words and keep you company on a hard day, but she isn't a psychologist or a therapist. She doesn't diagnose or treat anything, she sometimes gets things wrong, and she's never a substitute for a mental health professional.

For the chat, yes. To reply like someone who knows you, Hivie gets a little context, like your name and how you've been feeling lately. Your mood notes, your bottles and the phrases you save never reach the AI.

They're bees you discover and unlock as you use Hivie, each with its own drawing and its own little story. Some arrive as you keep going, like keeping up your streak or growing your hive. Others come from talking to Hivie or trying different things in the app.
There are four rarities: common, rare, epic and legendary. You'll find them all in Profile → Collectible bees. No rush: each one shows up in its own time.
